    Artist History
Earl Dixon founded the Underground Bass Masters in 1991 and along with James Lines, they have produced or collaborated on over 30 underground projects. In 1997, UBM released Transcend which helped spark the revival of the Electro - Techno Bass scene. Earl along with Matthew Gilcrease, a now former member of the band Counter Clockwise began collaborating on a few projects together in 1997 blending together entirely different musical influences, most all of which was unreleased. UBM finished Live Deeper in late 1998 and it was released March 1999 internationally, Live Deeper had a lot of experimental tracks on it, taking bass music in many different directions. UBM and their then current record label started to face artistic differences, the label was telling them that they had to limit the length of there songs to no more than 4 minutes in length and to only use short bass notes and to remember that UBM was their "Bass artist" and that they would be marketed that way. The differences couldn't allow each of them to work with each other anymore, In early 2000 UBM asked to be released from their contract. James Lines, the other original UBM member had been stuggling to support his wife and kids and to have a place to live and no longer had the time for the band and he decided to quit. Earl and Matthew continued to experiment with writting music together and a new style began to emerge. Audesi was formed in late 2000. The new music is coming nearer completion and Audesi will be on the road soon with a full band performance.
