Artist description
Windsor is a musical and conceptual force that combines a stunning pop sensibility with the integrity and inventiveness of a band that was made to last. Windsor's musical vision is a collective one rooted in Willie's gift for melodic wanderings and lyric richness. The music ranges from dreamy phrases to driving rhythms with Jaime accenting the chaos in his remarkably unique playing style.Micah and Ian hold down the rhythm section with authority, giving the resonant melodies and harmonies a firm structure to build on. Lyrically, Willie's striking metaphors and simple truths give the music a timeless sound that audiences connect with instantly.
Windsor takes its name from an old plantation style mansion in Hollywood. After the eleven children who lived there grew up and moved out it was left empty, save for two brothers, Willie and Jaime, the driving force behind the band Windsor. |
