Artist History Originally formed in 1987 as the punk rock band "Short Arm Inspectors." The band went through several membership and stylistic changes, as well as a name-shortening in 1988. They played most of Chicago's north-side venues. They released a self-titled CD in 1992. Short Arm disbanded in 1999 after the death of longtime drummer Jose Zotomayor.
