Formed from Warthorn in Medicine Hat, Alberta in 1985 by guitarist/vocalist Hart Bachmier. Moved to Edmonton, Alberta by 1986 and finalized lineup with Dean Relf on drums, Maurice Williams on guitar, and Chris Chapman on bass..
First vinyl appearance was 'Aggressor' on the Edmonton indie lp comp 'Writing in Stone' in 1988 (was rewritten as 'Vindicator'). Put out first lp/CD/cs 'Power Trap' in 1989 on defunct Canadian label Fringe.
'Power Trap' was remixed and put on CD by late 1990's. Second lp/cs/cd 'Omi nous Prophecy' was put out in 1992 on Fringe. A cover of KIss' 'Strange Ways' was included in demo sessions.
Guitarist Maurice Williams went to Vancouver and was replaced by Wes Sontag. Bassist Chris Chapman was replaced by Colin Post for this lp. OP wa s produced by ex-Fist lead Ron Chenier. Third lp/cs/cd 'Invincible Enemy' was put out on Fringe 1993 with art by Thorazine singer Shane Hawco (aka Drifter). Fourth lp/cs/cd 'Mechanikill' was put out independently on their own label Mindtgash Records in 19 9 6.
An 11 minute remix of song 'Mechanikill' by Shane Handford of subNetMask/Voice Industrie was put on indie release Mind Compression' CD, an Edmonton band comp by CJSR's Metal John in 1999. Sideband Dead Man's Train was formed in the mid-1990s as a co ve r band originally but
now has it's own catalog under their own label. Shane Hawco from Calgary band Thorazine was briefly recruited as vocalist during 1997 aft er Hart's throat had had enough. Hart returned to vocal duties as it should be. The current bass ist is Andy Smith. Currently, the band in recording the new album of 8-songs with pre-production at Wes Sontag's own Westudios with upcoming art by Tsanger Banger.
The band has recently performed live in Edmonton and done a Metalfest in Okanogan, BC with some other dates in the Vancouver area. The first two albums are in the process of being reissued on CDR in limited amounts.
