Artist History
Aquarian Mob was conceived by Landon "Cliff" Hendricks
in early 2001. Teaming up with the DJ Reverend Doktor,
he took a drumbeat created by the Rev and wrote guitar, bass and
keyboard parts over it. The 2 musicians, who share
the same exact birthday in January named the project Aquarian Mob.
Hendricks took the AQM song idea to the most
talented female vocalist he knew - Jillian Rocafort.
From that collaboration came the single "Game". The song was
one of the first local pop/dance tunes ever spun on rock station
WXSR 101.5 in Tallahassee. This was a fast start to
Hendricks's production career, and he officially opened
Meth Lab - his studio. His goal in forming the Mob
was to produce a new style of funk injected music
with great hooks, beats and powerful basslines. The members
of the Mob all strive to create new sounds and big singles
that push the sonic envelope.
