Artist History
The Powder Company is the project of North Carolina native Jenks Miller. Occasionally working in loose collaboration with other artists, The Powder Company constructs dreary folk noir and post-rock melodies. The emphasis here is on self-reflection, violence, memory, and regret. No, I not sit in dark corners lamenting existence; this music allows me to wrestle with my demons (and it might just appeal to yours ...). |

Press Reviews
I have press'd through in my own right,
I have sung the body and the soul, war and peace I have sung,
and the songs of life and death,
And the songs of birth, and shown that there are many births.
