Artist History The Powder Company is the project of North Carolina native Jenks Miller. Occasionally working in loose collaboration with other artists, The Powder Company constructs dreary folk noir and post-rock melodies. The emphasis here is on self-reflection, violence, memory, and regret. No, I not sit in dark corners lamenting existence; this music allows me to wrestle with my demons (and it might just appeal to yours ...).

Group Members Jenkins Robert Miller: vocals, guitars, bass, banjo, synthesizer, dulcimer, percussion. Kevin Witchger played drums on a couple tracks. Bob Courter played bass, drums, and mellotron on "Frustration."

Instruments Voice, guitar, ebow (and other guitar manipulations), keyboard, bass guitar, various sorts of percussion (including pot-scrapers, found objects, and the occasional drum set), lap dulcimer, sound manipulations, sometimes a banjo.
