Artist History
Levi Lyman is a Dj who has played the East bay for years.
He is an Alumni of the prestigious Expressions School for New Media, graduated in 2000 and immediately began working at the fabled Tarpan Studios in San Rafael, Under the tutelage of Narada Michael Walden,where he produced tracks for various artists. Soon he and Jon Berardi, a fellow Tarpan producer,Expressions graduate and long time friend, decided to break out on their own. Together they founded a production company which they dubbed Higher Vibrations. They immediately began work on a multitude of album projects, composing music for a diverse group of artists (see Spectrum of sound and Buddy wakefield)
In 2001 they joined Josh Franks, a session Musician they had previously worked with, who was also composing and producing for several Hip Hop and experimental acts by this time.
Levi is now beginning to release material under the moniker of "Lopan". He and Josh, a.k.a. Dj Shaj are beginning to focus on more advanced and Ocasionaly experimental Compositions. He is also begining to
score a spoken word DVD to be released by Higher vibrations early 2002 |
