Artist History
Citrus Ego started from the remnants of a previous band, whose founding member was kicked out. The band started as a basic hardcore/punk/ska group until later finding its sound in the driving influences of bands like Fugazi and Drive Like Jehu. Billy left the band in 1994 and the group kicked around for about a year afterward with different bassplayers, eventually giving up. Tom LoMacchio went on to sing for Plunger, and later performing acoustically by himself. Mike later sang for Perestroika and plays guitar in Defender. |
