Artist description
God has always delivered those who choose to obey
Him. That is the basis of Exit-40.
JESUS IS OUR REFUGE..!!!!!
And it so happens that a lot of times the number
40 is a significant figure used in God's perfect
equation. This is proven by the Word of God, and
such examples are: Noah and the 40 days of rain,
the book of Exodus has 40 chapters, and our favorite,
Jesus fasting for 40 days before being tempted by
the devil. Each example displays an act of deliverance
in some way. So the deliverance from God combined
with the number 40 equals EXIT-40..!!!

Press Reviews
HM Magazine review of MYOPIA in the July/August 2001 issue
Maryland's Exit-40 do heavy, Disciple-ish songs with Bible verses
cited above their lyrics. While songs titles like
"God is Great", "Positive Messiah", and "Promised
Land" are pretty ambiguous, it is quite possible
that they are a Christian band (sic). People that
like the groove-rock to come hard and hairy, with
a guitar unashamedly out front at all times, will
really dig their new CD, Myopia (Oh great, you know
that's gonna end up in a press kit...). I will
completely confess my bias right now, I don't like
this kind of music. Just my tastes, man. But even
I can tell that this CD has a lot to offer to those
that appreciate a well-laid heavy groove. They
throw down hard, and never let up, you know?
Good show, mates. They're on our CD sampler,
so check them out for yourself if you have one.
