bluebook is an extremely un-hip alt-rock trio sprung from the loins of the suburban uber-sprawl of riverside, california, transplanted to the equally tragic san fernando valley. before accepting its niche in the pantheon of rock-and-roll obscurity, bluebook made its living hawking designer imposter watches and stuffed iguanas on the corner of ventura and the 405. in its spare time, bluebook likes to crack its knuckles and drool uncontrollably. |

Artist History
bluebook originally began as a duo, its members, plant and robbie, were the founding members of the critically ignored, seminal mid-nineties inland empire alt-rock band "zombie toolshed." after ditching the zombie (literally), they continued for a while as "toolshed." plant eventually left for the greener pastures of sf, co-founded "acetaminophen," then emigrated back down to the la area. robbie promptly relocated to the city soon after. july 2002 saw the addition of drummer / percussionist, david (also a member of the fab l.a. trio, lift off) to the bluebook ranks, thus completing the triumvirate.
the aqualung ep was the original duo's first release as bluebook.
it was followed by the obsolete ep, which was hammered out at lo-fi studios in october 2001.
