    Artist History
The origin of the Trucker Nuns can be traced back to a High School band called "Edith's Mystery", a band which failed miserably. The drummer and bass player Matt Reid met up with Luke Holder on guitar and the three formed a band known as Desolem featuring Rick Sahlin as Rambo in the classic Green Jelly song "Three Little Pigs". Desolem broke up after the asounding incompatibility of the drummer with the rest of the band forced them to remove him as if a cancer. Rick Sahlin's brother, Matt aka Skippy, played drums better as the renouned Josh Cutts brought a new vocal element to the band. Trucker Nuns practiced in a basement in Middletown, CT., where they conceptuallized their songs and came up with a lot of stupid jokes.
