    Artist description
Imagine New Wave never happened, but punk rock took geek rock, and threw it into emo, making for an alternative noise unlike any created before, yet much like somthing you thought you heard before but weren't quite sure. and then, right when you thought that you had it all figured out, new wave decide to comeback, but not in the 80's, no no no. right now. imagine that, well you'll have to keep imagining, because i don't think that A-ha has a comeback in store, but if poison and quiet riot do, why not? well, that's what we sound nothing like, except when the finger-tapping begins. yeah, throw that in there to. so, if new wave did exist, but about 20 years later, minus the 80's glam metal (but keep the finger tapping), plus a little dirt metal (just a little, the roads would be too dangerous otherwise), and then punk rock decide to take the alternative route by throwing emo through geek rock, you might have something that sounds a little bit like us, yeah. (but just a little)
    Music Style
Geek Rock+Emo+Punk+Indie=lots of different types of music (or alternative, some call us that)
    Musical Influences
Everything from Weezer and the Pixies to Nofx and the Descendents, we all have different tastes, but end to meet in the middle on lots of music. (example, my favorite band is less than jake, julian doesn't really like them though, and i (mike) don't really like ozma too much, but we both like the getup kids)
    Similar Artists
Weezer, Ozma, Getup Kids, Nofx, descendents, pixies; i don't know, this is a stupid question, we don't really sound like any of these bands, bands are supposed to sound different
    Artist History
julian and matt were buddies, and julian had a guitar, and matt had a drum set and they played. but matt wanted to play guitar too. so he did, and they asked mike to play bass, and he sucked, and they all sucked together. julian played guitar, mike played bass, and sucked, and matt played drums and guitar, and sucked at both. then they asked peter to play drums, and they practiced, and stopped sucking. and then they started writing their own music, and then they thought of a name. now they have songs recorded, and they play them too, but suck so much anymore

    Press Reviews
"Paperface, which has recently relesed a studio recorded demo with five original songs including 'Benedict Ave.' and 'Blown Away.' The band's vocalist, Julian Lynch, is responsible for writing most of the lyrics." "Paperface gave a fantastic performance," and "was a tough act to follow." --The 5ifth Column
