Artist History
Started in 1989 by Eric Stevenson and Jonah Jenkins, we began practicing in the old mill buidlings of Lowell Massachusetts. Eric's brother kevin has agreed to play guitar, and Roy Costa started on bass. A demo was released and sold at shows. Also in Lo well, MA, Dan Mcnamara agreed to press it onto vinyl, minus one song ("C.O.P.") so that it would fit onto a 7 inch. The band played shows with Leeway, Slaphot, Breakdown, Sam Black Church, Corrosion of Conformity, Prong and many other peers during the tra nsition of hardcore and metal music into a more abstract form. In 1992, a second demo was released, courtesy of Ron Crawford of Slipt Disc Records in Billerica, MA. This demo caught the attention of Century Media Records of Dortmund, Germany. Many of t he demo songs were re-recorded for the Prone Mortal Form album in 1993. rµ |
