Artist History
The concept of this band came from humble beginnings... very humble beginnings. It
started off at a high school talent show, and then turned in to a way to pass the
time while we were hanging out (with high hopes of drawing in chicks). Around
Christmas of 1999 and summer of 2000 guitarist Andy Harnett, singer Mac Constantine,
and bassist Chris Testa got together to play covers and write some original
songs, which was a lot of fun but we sucked pretty bad. At the end of that summer
we stuck a song up on mp3.com under the name Bounce and all went back to our colleges
not thinking much about the band. Then at UMass in a magical room in Baker stuff
just started to come together, and a new band was formed with bassist Chris Testa,
singer Mac Constantine, and new members lead guitarist Shay Barnes (who can solo
better then the best of them), the best damn drummer in the world Rob Guest, and rhythm
guitarist Tom Littlepage. We all got a house in Amherst for the summer and played
covers and worked on original stuff. But as the summer started coming to an end
guitarist Andy Harnett was brought back in, which added a really nice style and
vision to the band. On Wednesday August 29th of 2001 until early in the morning
of August 30th we spent 20 hours at Sound Techniques recording studio and made a
5 song demo CD with mixer Jason Hester. We have all returned to our separate
colleges for the school year, but next summer we hope to be living on Cape Cod
and playing a lot of shows, who the hell knows what the future will bring.
