Artist description
This is game music for a game that doesn't exist. The game is called Aeryn's Quest. It started when I decided to see if I could make music that sounded like a 2nd generation video game system. IE- SNES, Genisis. I was successful, as far as I can tell. |
 |
Music Style
Hard to describe. It's videogame music and I did my best to make it sound like video game music. |

Artist History
My name is Gary Butterfield. I am Mr. Katsumata's assitant. When he asked me to help him out on his new Super Nintechno game Aeryn's Quest, I was honored. I'd heard of his work on The Legend of Lezda and Super Maritroid Brothers. Now we are offering the soundtrack to this popular game to the public. Please enjoy and if you would like to purchase a CD, please contact me. I would say contact Mr. Katsumata direct but he speaks very little English. Thank you. |

Press Reviews
This is a short review of the Super Nintechno game Aeryn's quest. it mentions the music.
"Cubesoft has done it again with this gem, Aeryn's Quest. A RPG in the classic Nintechno style with updated graphics and sound. The game is non-linear but not to the point that you get stuck often and the difficulty curve is just right. Interesting items and monsters, in addition to a superb score by Matsumoto Katsumata, makes this game a must-buy. 96%"- GameRulers |
