Artist description
"Hip Jones is an vocal and songwriting tour de force that make their home in Vancouver, British Columbia. With beautiful three part harmonies reminicent of Pet Sounds era Beach Boys and a music that can range from elegant, moving piano-based songs of love and loss to unforgettable and eminently danceable funk-injected pop numbers, Hip Jones rises above the norm and brings singing and songwriting to a higher level that few artists today provide, or can hope to aspire to. The infectious melodies and grooves that Hip Jones create will resonate in your ears and keep you singing and humming long after hearing them." |

Artist History
Neil and Greg have been writing songs together for over 10 years
always searching for the perfect pop songs, while attempting to
avoid cliches and to create and nurture their own unique sound.
Denis joined up in 2000 and brought with him a strong and unique
vocal style that takes the music to a new level. The band recently completed recording a full-length CD at Profile Studio's in Vancouver BC
with Sho Murray engineering and producing. The trio has now teamed up with guitarist Jon den Boer and drummer Todd Walsh and are beginning a series of shows around the greater vancouver area. |
