Artist History Youth In Revolt first started in the fall of 1999 as Corrupt Youth. Aric came to Frankie one day asking him if he wanted to be in a band with him. Frankie agreed and Aric started teaching him bass. With the few songs that they had started they decided they needed a drummer. So thats were Kevin came in. With a drummer now to make the band complete Frankie started improving and Aric began to write more and more songs. By the summer of 2000 and after two shows Aric and Frankie decided Kevin wasn't working out. They ask Nick to be in the band and in two weeks they were ready for their first show with him. A little after that they found out that a band already had the name Corrupt Youth so they decided to change it. After much thought they took on the name of Youth In Revolt. They continued playing all through the summer and getting shows at some major venues. After two years Youth In Revolt has recorded a ten song demo tape in the fall of 2000, a six song cd with Heresy Digital Recordings in the beginning of 2001, and an additional three songs with the Gobo recordings.
