Artist description
A combination of influences spanning several eras of rock n roll appears to
have finally molded into what we now know as 'Monstrous Blues'. The band
has ex-members of many local Wollongong luminaries and have over the
years soaked up their share of garage, metal, grunge, psychedelia, pop,
punk and rock n roll to care anymore about slotting into a genre. They do
what they do and have always done - make a noise and have a laugh |

Press Reviews
"This ep seems to exemplify the diversity of this band, with 5 very individual sounding songs, which all manage to depict various styles
without losing too much continuity."
Oliver Keefe, Halfway To Nowhere, Australia
"So this is a damn good listen. For those that like their hard rock riffs with a little imagination, it's an even better listen."
Chris Barnes, CustomHeavy.com, USA
"Fu Manchu meets the Beach Boys"
Justin Donnelly, Utopia Magazine, Australia
"Octane increases the fury to red line with a fat pounding bass line and solid grating guitar to pump the arms to and deliver some much
needed local Kung-Fu."
Dieter Kraus, Beat Magazine, Australi |
