Artist description
Klepto is a three piece alternative rock band from the south side of Chicago. A style that can be better described as a hybrid of funk, rock, and metal. With influences from Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Tool, Incubus, Finger Eleven, and many others, they're recreating the face of Chicago rock. It is a style that is rare, and maybe unheard of. Definitely fresh, in a world of rap-rock after rap-rock clone.

Artist History
Klepto originally formed as a foursome, under the title "Yarn". Before long, as if fate was guiding, the band parted ways with their lead guitarist and became a trio. The threesome then took a new name, it would be, "Klepto". Three talented young musicians, setting off to display their hearts and souls to a world which is resistant to emotion.

Group Members
Dan Shaughnessy fronts the band, with his powerful vocals. Vocals that can pierce the skin. Incredibly melodic vocal lines, and thought provoking lyrics come from him. He can range from a sweet lullaby to an all out rage from his depths. Combining his voice, with his skilled guitar playing, makes him a phenomenal front man. Playing guitar from his early pre-teen years, developing with the guitar at his side. Living music. Breathing music. Some have compared him to greats, Jim Morrison, and Jimi Hendrix, with a modern twist.
Chris Willand provides the tempo for the music you'll hear. He has been drumming for over a decade, in bands, and various competitions. A skilled drummer that can cover any style imaginable. He combines elements of funk, latin, rock, jazz and metal into his own form of playing. A man who knows how to use his instrument to keep the band together. The musical glue. A thunderous sound that is sure to make anyone want to move in response, and the most bashful of people, tap their feet.
Matt Gronski is a skilled musician in many instruments. His instrument of choice is the bass guitar. He has influences that range from Nirvana, to Beethoven. Playing the bass guitar for a mere 3 years, he plays with the skill and accuracy of a bass player, three times his age. Definitely a bassist that can hold his own in any style of music. He adds the surrounding rhythm section in the band, with a funky twist that will leave anyone unable to control themselves.
