Artist History
Formed in Santos in 1991, Garage Fuzz has a lengthy history in Brazil's
alternative rock scene. Their 1994 debut release, Relax In Your Favorite
Chair (ROADRUNNER), was released in 12 countries including Germany, the UK,
France, Italy and Benelux. The band toured Brazil for the first time soon
after the album's release, playing in various states around the country.
The "Comfortable Dimensions" EP was released in '98 on SPICY RECORDS. That
same year, the band signed to the US ONEFOOT label, and released Turn The
Page, The Season Is Changing. The 14-track release showcases Garage Fuzz's
increasing stylistic maturity, and will soon be released in the US, Japan,
Australia and Europe.
The band have also been featured on compilations such as the Punkass
Generosity benefit album, recently released in America, which also features
Alligator Gun, At The Drive Millencollin, Bodyjar, No Fun At All, Bracket,
No Use For A Name, Lagwagon and others. In 1999, besides a 10-date tour with
U.S. band Seaweed, they have also shared the stage with You Can Eat, Fugazi,
No Fun At All, Lagwagon, Sick Of It All, Shelter and Man Or Astro-Man?
They are ready to put out an 16 songs live cd september 2001 on highlight
sounds
The band is currently preparing songs for an upcoming new studio release. |
