Artist History
Micke Mörk and Stefan Skogen were both born and raised in the extreme Northern Swedish town of Övertomeå. Micke had long written poems and lyrics based upon his fascination with celestial objects, the deep dark forests which surrounded him and naturally his Northern Swedish heritage. In 1992, Micke was writing one such poem, he heard Stefan playing his guitar from across a small park. In shock over the beautiful and mysterious melodies coming from Stefan's guitar, Micke approached and inquired into beginning a band. This band eventually became EverMörk ("EverDark") and the two combined their talents to record their debut album entitled: "Astral Forest Winds". While the full-length was recorded in the dark cold Northern Swedish winter in 'Reindeer Studios', it has yet to be officially released. It is believed by the few followers and fans who have had the pleasure of hearing EverMörk, as well as Micke and Stefan themselves, that it will not be long before it is officially released and available everywhere. The world demands such astral melodies! |

Press Reviews
Scandinavian Metal Review: "Without any doubt, EverMörk will take the current metal scene by storm. Stefan's timeless melodies captured me in a trance and Micke's high-pitched, almost blackmetal style vocals complimented the mysteriousness of it all. And lets not even get into the lyrics, because once you do you realize how deep this band really can get. 4 stars! Get this album if you can... calling all labels! - Peter Berglund" |
