Artist History
TEMPER WAS ESTABLISHED IN THE WINTER OF 1994 IN THE
BASEMENT OF A CONDEMNED HOUSE (A.K.A. THE DUNGEON), IN
NORTH SALT LAKE BY DUSTAN NEIL AND CHAD BRINKERHOFF.
FROM THESE MEAGER BEGINNINGS TEMPER STARTED TO BUILD ITS
SOUND. BY EARLY 1995, THEY WERE PLAYING BARS AND PARTIES
ALL OVER THE STATE. IN THE FALL OF 1996 THE BAND ADDED
JASON HARRIS TO ITS ARSENAL AND CONTINUED ITS SONIC
ATTACK ON UTAH. TRAGEDY STRUCK IN FEBRUARY OF 1997 WHEN
ALL OF THE BANDS EQUIPMENT (AND THE BASS PLAYER’S HOUSE)
BURNED IN A FIRE. DOWN BUT NOT OUT, THE BAND RE-GROUPED
AND CAME BACK STRONGER THAN EVER. WITHIN A MONTH
TEMPER WAS FULLY FUNCTIONING AGAIN. IN THE SPRING OF
1998, THE BAND ACQUIRED ADAM NELL (A LONG TIME FRIEND
AND PREVIOUS BANDMATE). WITH RENEWED DRIVE, THE
BAND RECORDED ITS FIRST ALBUM. IN FALL 2001 TEMPER
REPLACED LONGTIME BASSIST CHAD WITH BRYAN BISHOP.
WE ARE READY TO HIT IT HARD AND HEAVY..........
