Artist description
Zambia-born Raggaman has not only a versatile
range of influences as is immediatley obvious in
the various styles in his music, but has a
versatile vocal range as well, from singing
sultry-soft lovers-rock tracks like "Let Me Be
The One", to straight reggae roots numbers like
"Jah" or the bottom deep ragga raps like
"Telephone Lover".
Sometimes he mixes all three into an African
Rhumba mesh of dance tracks, examples of which
include the Zambian Masiye Band remake of
"Dziko La Mulungu" and "Feel Me Beat."
There is something for everyone in his debut
compilation - a little bit of Reggae Roots,
a little bit of Ragga, and a little bit of Rhumba.
