Artist description
Two Foot Small is a contemporary jazz/funk/blues fusion trio with range that stretches from classic blues styling to traditional jazz to avant-garde jazz with everything in between, all with a healthy serving of funk grooves. Cris Comp and Bob Kennedy conspire to provide an intensely tight and together rhythmic foundation, and Josh Karnes' eclectic guitar improv lays in completing the triangle which redefines the term "power trio". Two Foot Small binds together funky grooves and blues-rock influences with a jazz pedigree to deliver something altogether fresh. |

Artist History
Josh Karnes and Cris Comp were childhood friends and played in school band together throughout Jr. High and High School. Cris joined in on various rock band projects with Josh throughout their formative musical years. Years later, Bob Kennedy and Josh met at church and the two found an immediate musical affinity. Seeking a reprieve from his normal range of writing, producing and playing pop/rock and contemporary worship music, Josh pulled favors with the most talented rhythm section he knew to record the debut tune, "Turn it Up", and Two Foot Small was formed. |
