Artist History The Story behind JJ & JAYUNO... Singer/rapper/song writer Jennifer "JJ" Johnson was discovered by Full Force 2 years ago and has since exploded onto the music scene via her incredible vocals, signature writing style, and powerful music concepts. Most recently, JJ penned the title track on BLAQUE's upcoming album and is currently writing for several platinum & upcoming artists (it's a surprise)! Rapper/songwriter JAYUNO is the best-kept secret in the Lower East Side of New York City. His career began at age 12 when he started writing rhymes. Since then, he has developed his signature style, which encompasses witty lyrical concepts, catchy chants and an infectious flow. Most recently, JAYUNO has been featured on collaborations with the likes of Cuban Link and Tony Sunshine to name a few. JJ & JAYUNO met in a Lower East Side studio while working on separate solo projects. The two connected instantly and collaborated on several songs soon thereafter. JJ & JAYUNO went on to do several performances together and the response was consistent, "You should be a group!" Now, JJ & JAYUNO have turned that "should be a group" into "we are a group" and are currently in the studio finishing their highly anticipated demo. The first cut off of their demo "Been There Done That" is a flavorful Full Force production, laced with JJ & JAYUNO's unique rap flows and an unmatchabe vocal swaaang. JJ & JAYUNO are setting a new norm in the music industry! This hot new duo is certain to transcend the current Hip-hop, R&b, and Pop cultures
