Artist History
previous band collaboration's have been subculture, ultraviolence, and technik. born in hawaii and raised in texas. spanky has lived in and around austin for several years. although austin is reportedly the live music capitol of the world, techno music isn't as widely accepted here; and in the majority of cases, frowned upon. with a lack of interest from fellow musicians and artists in austin, spanky currently works on the project by himself. now living in san antonio, tx. the new direction of altared state is dependent upon finding an audience "the guys at arby's think we rock". spanky has sold material before, but is dissatisfied with the current music industry's lack of techno releases in the u.s. spanky is seeking a much more mellow techno sound. "i am upset by the lack of industry interest in techno as a viable genre of music in america" let's see if we can change that!!! |
