Artist History
The band last pick'd together about three years ago.
It used to get really hot where we practiced.
Besey Sue said that made us play sweaty music.
We only played together maybe three times but Paw use da say we sounded like a "real group" on them famous records.
And Paw should know.
He used to play fiddle down at the Monks Retreat.
The last time we played, our drummer recorded our songs on the computer (he is purty smart like that).
But we were glad he did cause these is the last recordin's we ever had.
The songs sound kinda rough but you can git a basic idear of what we sounded like.
Unfortunatly paw died a few days after the recordings and we had to sell the farm.
Billy ran off'n changed his name and started writin' these new fangled pop songs all by his lonesome.
Now I'm figure'n pop is popular but somehow shorter.
He sings pretty good and still picks a fine guitar even though he dresses all weird, you know what I mean.
Now John-Boy well, he was gonna move to New York City and become one of them doctors you see on them television shows
Well he got hit by a crop duster a waiting for a bus.
So he never did make it to the big city.
So as for Bobby and me Leroy, well we started seeing how well's Billy was making out after changing his name that we decided to do the same.
We started our own band, even found ourselves a new drummer and hell things are doing alright for us.
Well I reckon thats about the history of The Full Nelson Freightliner.
We had a good ol' time playing together, and one day hell, maybe the god lord'll let us do it again. |
