Artist History
BODYFUEL rose from the ashes of X'ILE, a contemporary hardrock/metal band featuring Maarten on guitar, Nico on drums and Bob on bass and vocals. This trio recorded a demo CD. Differences in interests caused vocalist Bob to leave the band in 1999 and a temporary breakup of X'ILE.
Early 2000 the remaining members Maarten and Nico decided to reform the band and started looking for a second guitarist to occupy rythm duties while Maarten would take it upon himself to become the band's singer/guitarist. The name was changed to BODYFUEL, in march they hooked up with Nicolas, a young axeman from Brussels and started rehearsing the old songs again while writing new ones at the same time.
In the summer of 2001, a 5 song demo CD was recorded and produced by the band, preparing them to treat the world to a nice slab of heavy rock and roll.
