Artist History The band was formed a few years ago by Denise Archibeque (guitar), Angelique X (lead vocals) and Sonya Westcott (bass) as a tool to combine poetry and dark melodic music. Jennifer Slatten (Violin/vocals) joined in 1996 to complete the core of Venus Bleeding, opening a new dimension to VB's sound. As the band members' diverse taste in music came together and their musicianship progressed, the song writing matured and developed giving Venus Bleeding a stronger rock/pop flavor while still retaining a hint of their dark origin. Corey Moore (Drums) is Venus Bleeding's newest addition. His amazing drumming technique and timing has added depth and power to the music.
