Artist History
The band was formed in 1992 in Shetland, the most northerly Island in the UK
The band members have a wide ranging musical background, which leads to
the unique Red Vans sound. The lead singer, Jim Quinn,
hails from Glasgow, and used to play with Eddie Reader,
of Fairground Attraction fame. They are now working on
their third cd release, and have played a wide range of
venues both in the UK and in Europe. The USA is next on
their list! The band recently performed for a Japanese television program about Shetland, and
tracks from their album were used as the sound track. |
