Artist description Partz Unknown consists of The Tweak Master General and The Mental Mishap. We are originally from the Bay Area, but for the last 5 years we have been puttin it down in the up and coming city of atlantis. We call our sound Jungle Bionics a mixture of indigenous / futuristic stimuli. Musically we take you from the street corners of Oakland/Berkeley/Richmond California to the furthest corner of the galaxy.

Artist History Partz Unknown was started in Oakland California in the winter of 93. The group consisted of The DTX, Newton (Tweak Master) and Mishap. We recorded 3 early Underground classics in 93( Boos to Dues, Conversational and Sure Shot to blow). Although the Bay Area was fertile soil for the type of music we were doing we felt a burning desire to migrate to a new location were we could be truly unknown. We chose the city of Atlantis do to our manager Davy D's many hook ups there. Once in Atlanta we immediately recorded the classic Sex in Space Demo (Fathom, Shine, Sex in Space and Parts Unknown 1994). Due to the strength of the song fathom we were given an opportunity to film a 35mm Music Video Which was aired on BET'S Rapcity as well as numerous local video shows. We also became active members of the local chapter of the Zulu Nation. We have opened for many groups such as A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Hieroglyphics, Alcoholics, Brand Nubian, KRS ONE, Micranots, El Pus, Mass Influence, Heather B and Gang Star. We have ripped freestyles on just about every hip-hop radio show in Atlanta. In 1996 we released the Metropolis Vinyl. At one point this song was the most requested song on the Gavin winning Hip-Hop Show Rhythm and Vibes (WRAS) hosted by Randal Moore and G-Wiz. In Late 1997 the group went through a major metamorphosis. When we exited the cocoon we were one member short. DTX left to live in Brooklyn, NY. Now only a two member group we became determined to put out a full length CD for the people to enjoy(This being the one thing we had yet to do). We also changed the s at the end of our group name to a z. This symbolized the new more refined Partz Unknown sound. We are currently offering selected songs from our soon to be released full length CD
