Artist History
Formed in Alaska in the late '80s, the band migrated to San Francisco to put down roots in more fertile territory. In 1992 the switch from Jeff Trujillo to Joe Creitz (now with DORK) on guitar gave the band's sound a harder edge, and enabled the Bushmeisters to finish recording and releasing their only recorded album, Neurometer. The band was named after the mighty men of the Alaskan bush. The Mighty Bushmen disbanded in 1994, after touring successfully all aound the west coast, and Joe Creitz went on to form DORK. |
