Press Reviews THE GLOBALMUSE.COM About the CD REVIEW: If you've ever been wondering where you could find a singer that sounds like John Lennon and creates a style of music that has all of the textures of the Beatles, then look no further. MarLuc has a style that is all his own and presents it on this 11 song CD entitled, "Review". The music pulls from several genres but the one thing that you will notice is, the songs are remarkably similar to the styles of John Lennon. Don't expect MarLuc to be as prolific and as amazing as Lennon, that's just impossible, but you will see the resemblance. MarLuc uses a guitar style or tone that needs a little tweaking because it really doesn't work well with the songs, but that is only minimal. I believe that those who enjoy the Brit Pop sound will enjoy this CD. I wouldn't call it a classic in the making, but it's definitely something to add a little uniqueness to your ears if you find yourself growing tired of the same old, same old. THE GLOBALMUSE.COM About Love Me Right Now: An acoustic guitar and a symphonic background is all you need to make a good song. Excellent lyrics and great vocals puts this song out in the forefront of it's genre. Although I consider this song more of a folk/pop song than easy listening. The lyrics are moving and the song makes you just want to drift away with your own imagination.THE GLOBALMUSE.COM About I Miss You: At first listen to this song, you can tell that MarLuc is strongly influenced by John Lennon. I've yet to hear anyone who sound and writes like Lennon as well as MarLuc. This is a very good song with plenty of originality. If you're a Lennon fan, this is the song for you.THE GLOBALMUSE.COM About The Girl Of My Dreams:Here is another great song from MarLuc that exceeds the limits of his genre. His John Lennon vocal style is just the best I've heard. With nothing more than and acoustic guitar and a few symphony instruments, this song is a definite classic in the making.
