Artist description
In a world of recycled, formulaic pop songs, there is a forgotten place deep in the woods of art and love and rock and roll. This is where you will find Lyndzie. Forget pink tube tops and dance routines, Lyndzie is the real deal. She is not only a girl and her guitar, but also a girl with an unceasing passion for one thing: music.
If Alanis Morrisette, Gwen Stefani and the Go Go’s got together and jammed, the music might sound a little like Lyndzie. Singing and writing from a young age, Lyndzie, now fifteen years old, is already a seasoned songwriter. Some would describe her gift as “Youthful Maturityâ€, but Lyndzie believes that art is art no matter what the age of the creator.
Rock songs with a pop sensibility is what you’ll hear while listening to Lyndzie. You might also be able describe it as pop songs with a rock edge. Either way, Lyndzie’s music is so widely palatable that it exceeds the boundaries of genres. A nice balance is given with her insightful lyrics and pop hooks, so as not to alienate the different tastes of different listeners. Every song tells a story, drawing you in, making you wonder what is going on in her mind.
If you ever thought that every teenager was shallow and immature, then Lyndzie has something to tell you. Her music is a wake up call to the youth of America, proving that being beautiful does not mean taking your clothes off; it means exposing your true self, flaws and all.
