Artist History Robinson:vocals/guitar, Mat: guitarist, Dave: Bass, Adam: drums, grew up within differentparts of Massachusetts except for Robinson, who is originally from New York. Gripe was formed in 1994 inBoston, MA. GRIPE has played all major clubs in and around the Boston area, performed live on WHJY Rhode Island, and were selected from over 11,000 bands to performed at " Lupos Heartbreak Hotel" in the 1997 Ticket Master Music Showcase.In July 1996, GRIPE releaed their first 8 song album "You" which sold out of it's first pressing of 500 copies within the first two months.These initial recordings have been repressed and have sold over 1000 copies to date. The band is rehearsing inthere own private studio after a line-up change, welcoming new bass player Dave, GRIPE is back in the recording studio at FORT APACHE in Cambridge MA with 14 songs recorded and are currently mixing. The album is slated to be released in a couple of months.
