Press Reviews 5 MINUTE MAJORDEMO4 songs by Queen's newest breed. From their first show at Castle Heights in the summer of '98 I knew these guys were gonna be a force on the scene. Not exactly newcomers, 5 Minute is the remnants of Inside Job, just with Kevin Fat Cat on vox. So, with some seasoned veterans on the instruments, a good demo should have a been the result. Wrong - it is a great demo. What sets this tape apart from other bands with a similar heavy metallic sound is that Kevin knows how to sing. His voice fits the music perfect on every song. His tone suits the lyrics as well, which is a huge asset when trying to convey a certain message in the song. Lyrically, expect to find some gems here, especially on "Value The Time," which tackles the concept of loss of a loved one. The personal introspection on that song alone will leave you thinking. A+ job and extra credit for the demo being recorded in only a short time as an actual band. 4 songs in all - "Value...," "Defiance," "Hindsight," and "Crosscheck." Contact: Kevin/Eric 718 267-1326.
