Artist description
Dx is a globally distributed band whose active members live in melbourne-florida and new york city. Call it a cross pollination of live jams, tapes transfers via mail, samples via e-mail, programming, remixing, etc... |
|
Music Style
Dx imposes no rules to the 'style' of music we create. so far we've incorporated: atmospheric sounds, cuecas (chilean folklore), improvisations, pop, rock, samples, sequences, and out-right weirdness to create our own 'style'... DxStyle |

Artist History
The concept of Dx (an alternative side project for a group of friends to release music with no boundaries) began with an exchange of tapes with musical ideas between David Bitner and Miguel Serrano in '96. In '97 we had our 1st jams sessions. We collaborate via music 'exchanges' taking advantage of this computer age and the internet. |

Press Reviews
Unsettling electronic forays deconstruct Latin American rhythms and the conventions of speech. Guitars, noisy effects, and creepy rhythmic developments. Like the brush of a bat's wings in Quetzcotl's tomb. (Sarah B./listen.com) --- Experimental insanity (realguide.com) |
