Artist description
CrosstownŽ is a guitar oriented rock/blues/pop trio with an emphasis on 2 part harmonies.
Its power-pop approach to original music, combined with its 'less is more' philosophy results in a surprisingly smooth and full sound.
Sandro Carella and Michael Dean are both accomplished songwriters. 5 of Sandro's compositions, recorded on the CD entitled 'Where These Streets Meet' featuring the original CrosstownŽ lineup, are available free on this site. More of Michael's and Sandro's originals will soon be released here at MP3.com.

Artist History
CrosstownŽ was formed in Boston in the new millennium, after many years of each member separately developing a fluent musical backbone.
In Sandro's case, by fronting the original Crosstown Lineup and gigging around New England's blues and rock clubs in the 70's and 80's. He continued playing as a blues duet in small clubs and outdoors in NYC in the 90's.
Michael did the same in different Boston bands throughout the years focusing on rock and pop styles.
Both Sandro and Michael sing and write original material which is the main feature of CrosstownŽ.
Jon is a talented multi-instrumentalist who focuses on drums and percussion in this trio, having sharpened his craft at Berklee School of Music by way of classes and regular band gigs with friends.
All three members live in the old North End of Boston which infuses their sound with a neighborhood feel and character that's hard to come by and impossible to fake.
