Artist History Cali started singing at family get togethers and gatherings at an early age.She loved singing with her younger sister and they performed for family regularly.Experiencing a turbulent childhood : Cali's mother discouraged Cali away from music and the entertainment biz and encouraged her studies in nursing. Unhappily, Cali went along with her mother's wishes and was headed into a nursing program at the nearby college.It wasn't until attending a Patty Loveless concert that Nursing flipped to a serious pursuit in music.As music always dictates, Cali's heart was in music and music only. She only wanted to sing/write and perform.Cali worked in factories and restaurants before settling into office bookeeping work by day and singingin clubs at night.A quick in and out trip to Nashville, proved a good learning lesson for Caliwho is now perservering in a genre which is called New Country today.Boldly and happily she trudges on ...with a singing heart and all her fans and family agree she's a much happier person for it.
