Artist History
Cornhole has been pleasing the sick humored while offending the tight assed for over 7 years now. Specializing in loose, jangly country flavored rock with lyrics that pull no punches, Cornhole's music reaches out and touches every corner of the human condition, from the tragic story of a Waffle House waitress in "Smothered, Covered and Fucked" to the male empowering power ballad "Perky". Cornhole's spirituality is evident in songs like "Sweet Baby Jesus," "Purple Chair," and "Talking to God" which ends with the echoing chorus of "...gods so fucking good , he' so goddamn good..."—you know that makes the big guy smile. Darkly humorous stories of twisted upbringing appear in "Uncle Charlie," "Me and Fred," and "Snowflake." If you find humor in things that others find disturbing, you will love this band. If you need a less substantial reason, everyone in the band is over 6 foot tall and gets laid more than you do. |
