from www.residentadvisor.com.au: The Clinic - Lay It Down Label: Tribe Ltd Style: Deep Breaks / Tribal House When a progressive record makes it’s UK debut on a Digweed Kiss show it is always a good indication that it has quality potential. A: Q&K Session Trust Mix by Sean Cusick and Leni Kern turns this breaks wonder into a storming progressive record that is one of the best pieces of work this 2002. A smooth driving tribal bassline, easing into a superb vocal that will send shivers down the spine of many a listener. Suited to an intimate club or large festival this tune has the perfect mix of vocals and a clever intelligent bassline to rock dance floors the world over. AA: The Broken Mix by Chip Watkins, Josh Mobley and Nikki Adema, the origional version of this track. It's a deep, dark breaks monster with a big vocal and dirty bassline hook that will no doubt have (and already has) DJ's the world over banging out this one. Overall it's definitely a vinyl that would be a great addition to many a record box, I strongly recommend it. ------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------- From the magazine BPM Cuture: Dj Who is back with some breaks in your face! "I Like It" is a dreamy breaks track with droning bass grooves, lush synth lines and uplifting female vocals stating I like it through out-a very elegant track. Pump The Method is more up front with harder beats and dirty nu-skool-like bass lines-nice production. This track is my favorite out of the two. A great new direction for the Kaleidoscope crew. 4/5 Reviewed by Simply Jeff for BPM Culture Magazine
