Artist History
We have been around since 1992, but with a few line-up changes. Our third release Crawl Through the Rubble was on a long wait due to these line-up changes, but now we are in full gear, and it's available NOW !!! Inspired by old-school thrash of the 80's, and combining our unique Death Metal style, Deceiver has once again gained international recognition as one of the top unsigned bands in the United States... In other words we are ready!!!! Deceiver's previous recordings, Casualty of War, (1994); and Lost Fer Blood, (1995); have received worldwide underground distribution....including the U.S., Europe, South Africa, Japan, Israel, Australia, and South America.... Deceiver have long been a dominant force in the New Mexico metal scene. By doing our own shows such as MetalFest '95, MetalFest '96 and MetalFest '97 , as well as opening for national acts, like Cannibal Corpse (Aug'96), Incantation (Oct'96), Deicide (July'97 and Nov.'98), Pro-Pain and Pissing Razors(Apr'99), Flotsam and Jetsam (May '99) and Immolation and Cephalic Carnage(Oct.'99). We have come a long, long way!!! We have played all of the Albuquerque rock clubs and with sold out shows!!!!!! Deceiver is currently shopping for a record label with the BALLS to take us on. http://deceivernm.cjb.net |
