Artist History
In 1992 Bobby Strange started running an Open Mic
on Sunday nights at Red Bank's Laughing Bean. In
1997 the Open Mic moved around the block to the
Internet Cafe. In August of 1999 it was taken over
by Greg Salmieri, who ran it for two years before
moving to Pittsburgh in August of 2001. Durring
that time Greg, Bobby and Billy Chicago were all
regulars at the Internet on Sunday nights. All
songwriters, the three gradually learned each
others songs and began playing together in various
forms at the Internet and other local venue. |
