Artist History Slow Riser currently consists of Tony Ciaccia. It did not start out that way, but scheduling conflicts and family commitments slowly but relentlessly shrunk the band until Tony was the only one left…He now plays all the instruments and sings all the vocal parts, laying the tracks down one at a time. For you tech heads out there, he uses Steinberg’s Cubase and Wavelab, exclusively. Everything is recorded straight to the hard drive of an old PC, through a Mackie mixer and pre-amp. Tony started out as a drummer, playing with various bands in his early twenties and toured Canada for many years. He now also plays bass, keyboards, guitar and pedal steel guitar. Among his many interests he has a passion for the Arizona and Utah deserts and a love of playing hockey and growing oleanders. He lives in Toronto, Canada.
