Artist History hitterbox was formed in the winter of 2000 by Adam Erwin and Casey Caldwell. After a few songs had been written, Eric Stoecker and Ryan Petty joined the band, soon to be followed by Jeff Hedges. With the exception of Jeff, everyone had been in and out of bands together over the past few years.
