Artist History The various members of Generic came together in Boston from all parts of the nation and formed a unique chemistry that led to the creation of Generic. Generics' music has touched many people in the New England area with an audio recording written, recorded, produced, and distributed, solely by the individuals in Generic. Its other accomplishments include radio play on stations across the United States, and many performances in New England. The Noise a distinguished rock magazine, said "...space rock at its best..." These accomplishments are already having its effect on Generic in the year 2001. With five other albums in the past Generics' quest for more is still driving forward, expecting another album before the year is up. For now 'Aardvarks as Good As Any Number Chapter7: Red Monday in the Platypus Genocide Mystery' remains a classic in its own time.
