Artist History
Regoreged were created on the autumn of 1999
by Angelos, Panos, Achilleas and Lampros. All
band members are from Thessaloniki, Greece, but
three of them are currently students abroad-
in the UK in particular. Since the beginning
our goal was to write our own songs, which
generally fall into the extreme metal genre.
Through many experimentations and rehearsals
we chose to incline into an American-style Brutal
Death Metal influenced by bands such as Cannibal
Corpse, Morbid Angel and Suffocation. By the end
of the year 2000 we had prepared a rehearsal CD
which included songs from our earlier dates, as
well as most of our new material. This rehearsal
was exclusively for purposes of experimentation
and as such was not distributed by the band.
Our newest release, entitled Axessories of Carnage
was recorded on April 2001 at Riff Studios of
Thessaloniki and is basically recorded live and
in multiple channels, while the vocals were
recorded separately, and at the end there has
been mixing and mastering. We are more than
pleased by the outcome, sound-wise and
performance-wise, since we managed to achieve
a goal we set on our first days of existence.
There is still more, unrehearsed material we
intend to record in a more professional way,
and more immediate plans for the future include
some live shows. Anyone wishing to contact us,
whether it is for ordering our CD, or just for
comments or support, please e-mail us. |
