Jacqueline's singing is a style reminiscent of Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston and Natalie Cole. In addition to writing songs, Jacqueline's other interest include music publishing and record producing.

    Artist History
    Former lead vocalist for the R&B/Jazz/Soft-pop band Avant Tou. Jacqueline Cashmere now a solo artist displaying her sultry jazz-tinged vocals that will be heard on a self-titled CD due out in late fall of 2003. Jacqueline will be writing, arranging and producing the CD along with collaborator Colin Scott of Avant Tou. Jacqueline's CD will feature the scorching ballad "Show Me the Love" and the uplifting, smooth dance groove "Wherever You Are." Jacqueline's singing began in the roots of Gospel music. Originally from Texas, Jacqueline has performed television and radio jingles for the State of Texas "Watch Your Car Campaign." She has also performed the National Anthem for the Dallas Cowboys Football Team, Dallas Stars Hockey Team, Texas Rangers Baseball Club and the Virginia Slims Tennis Tournament featuring Martina Navratilova and she was the lead singer for the Jazz and R&B band Paradiso back in Dallas from 1994 - 1997. "I've been singing since I was six years old, and I loved to listen to the records of Mahalia Jackson, Chaka Khan, Natalie Cole, Barbara Streisand, Carol King and Aretha Franklin. My vocal techniques were enhanced by studying these singers and actually I've never had a voice lesson in my life!"
