    Artist description
How to describe who I am and what I do... I used to be a drummer. Played in a number of bands in the local punk scene, and after politics and other things, I decided to strike out on my own in an attempt to make "industrial" music. Originally, the project that has become Flood Damage was to be split into three distinct parts: "My Project", the experimental, genre bending, humorous side of my work, "Razors through Flesh," which was planned to be a hardcore industrial metal grind project, and "Flood Damage," which was intended to be purely electronic. It was then that I decided that I didn't need three seperate projects in order to be happy. I kept the Flood Damage moniker after releasing my first, awful demo tape, and put out a second tape in 1997, encompassing all kinds of music. Now, half a decade later, I've gotten a lot better at this... Flood Damage reigns supreme as my primary module for releasing music. The CD "underlife" was released in Sept. 2001, and will be followed some time in late 2002 by a remix EP featuring such notable acts as Hypoid, Things Outside the Skin, Concept 7, and Avenpitch. If you can't find at least one Flood Damage song you like, you aren't a fan of music. I would get quite bored with myself if I just made cookie-cutter post industrial garbage, so I try to mix it up as best I can with what resources I have available within alternative, electronic, industrial, metal and even rap genres. Keep in touch, and hide your children... the damage is coming...

    Press Reviews
It's really wicked! Quite original and intelligent too. ---MEG LEE CHIN (Goddess/Musical genius) Cool! What a mad style you have! ---Concept 7 (Band) There is some really great stuff here! I will listen to this again and again. --- Bill Harbort (Professor of Art, MSU) I don't usually like "industrial," but this kicks ass! --- xB.J.x Moore (Owner of the Liberty, punk rock club) Very cool! Obviously, I hear the electronic NIN-ish influences, but then there's also those complicated instrumentals and really weird experimental stuff... Good work! --- The Fleshpeddlers (Band)
