Artist History
Underbody (Formerly known as "Used") was formed in the post grunge mid nineties by longtime friends J.Blundo and Justin Dagle. The band developed carefully through the years not only to satisfy a yearning for creativity, which they felt was lacking from most modern music, but to make a major impact on the future of heavy music.
With the addition of Bill Jansen in 2000 and the completion of their epic debut album "The Prophet Stands Alone" in late 2001, Underbody has finally accomplished what they have always envisioned, a signature sound that is all their own. A sound that is so tight, so dynamically focused, that it sways in a hallucinogenic trance, rises with an explosion of power and embraces you within the arms of its melody. Whether live or in the studio, Underbody does not disappoint, encompassing you with the blood, sweat and tears of their energy and inspire you with an assault on your senses.
What's next for Underbody? What are their goals? With album finally in hand, Underbody is ready to explore all possibilities. Local radio support, a non-stop regimen of shows to add to an already healthy and hard-earned fan base, anything to satisfy the common will to succeed. They find themselves in the midst of their prime, the beginning of their creative evolution and hungry for any opportunity.
The rest is up to you. Open your eyes, ears, mind and heart. You are about to experience the music of Underbody…
